Stacey Lee (Bayeur) Dollinger

UTICA – Stacey Lee (Bayeur) Dollinger, age 49, passed on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, with those she loved most in her heart. Stacey was born in Tully, NY, on March 27, 1973, to the late Judith E. (Kloc) Bayeur and the late Ted Bayeur. There she was raised and educated. She graduated from Onondaga High School. Stacey then attended Onondaga Community College. At one time, Stacey was married to David Dollinger, and to that relationship came the gift of three sons. Stacey and David were always able to maintain a strong bond so they could foster love and support for their sons and their family. For Stacey, the home was her priority. She valued being there for family, and her strong maternal skills would then carry over to her work as an Onondaga Central High School bus driver. Later, Stacey accepted a position working in the BNY Mellon Innovation Center, where she dealt with foreign exchange currency. A patient and understanding woman, Stacey was consistently supportive in her kids’ activities, especially making sure to attend their sporting events. Those who knew her agree that, all around, Stacey was a great mother. She considered her three boys her greatest accomplishment. No matter what was going on, Stacey’s face would light up when she and the boys were together. In her younger days, Stacey loved working with horses; particularly, riding and showing them with her mother. Additionally, she enjoyed taking her kids to the Utica-Rome Speedway. In her adult life, with any spare time she had, Stacey was creating all types of arts and crafts for her home, for family, and for friends. Stacey is survived by her beloved sons and their loves, Codie Bayeur-Clarke and Kaila Lohr, Matthew Dollinger and Tori Bennett, and Jacob and Mary Dollinger; as well as their father, David Dollinger, and his husband, Cory Acome. Stacey also leaves behind her uncle and his wife, Paul and Michelle Kloc, and her late uncle David A. Kloc. Stacey shared in a special friendship with close family friend, her “niece” Samantha Goodno and her husband, Mike. The family will honor and commemorate Stacey’s life privately. She will be interred alongside her parents at Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse, NY.
