Mrs. Sharon Elizabeth (Bach) Jacintho

UTICA - Mrs. Sharon Elizabeth (Bach) Jacintho, age 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2023. Born in Utica on July 22, 1945, Sharon was the daughter of the late Raymond Francis and JuneEllen (Turra) Bach. Sharon attended area schools, graduating from a local high school. At one time she was wed to Raymond Miller, and from the union came the blessing of three children. In May of 1998, Sharon married Larry C. Jacintho. They shared in a loving and devoted union for over 25 years. Sharon was known to be a hardworking woman who took pride in every job that she worked at. While residing in Florida, she offered her expertise in helping the elderly and those with special needs, which was a display of her loving and caring heart. At one point, Sharon worked with her mother at the Utica White Tower Restaurant located on Genesee Street. Following working at the restaurant, she held a position as Manager at the Fabric Hut. She was also employed at the Red Roof Inn and lastly at Macy's Department Stores, from which she retired. Sharon possessed a beautiful soul and was blessed with a warm and loving heart. She adored those that shared the same path in life. Those that were closest to her, knew that Sharon had an extensive Teddy bear collection, totaling more than 500, which matched her caring and comforting energy. She was faithful in watching QVC, always in anticipation of scoring a great deal. She also enjoyed word puzzles and searches. Sharon was big on spending time with family, her children and grandchildren. She always loved a fun vacation and getaway when she had the chance to. Sharon is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Donald Dever; sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Dian Miller, and Michael and Connie Miller; and grandchildren, Raymond Miller, III; and Tyler Miller. She also leaves to cherish her memory her sisters and brother-in-law, Carol and Lawrence Bentley, and Mary Ellen Lynn; and in-laws, Geraldine and Paul Presser. Sharon had many friends by her side along the way in life but she held an especially close relationship with Joanne Cowley and Donald R. Fredenburg, Sr. She held the memory close of their son, her Godson, Donald R. "Deejay" Fredenburg, Jr. who passed away on March 13, 2015. Sharon was also predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl and Helen (Sales) Jacintho; infant sister, Sylvia; and her brother-in-law, Tim Lynn. Gratitude is extended on behalf of the Jacintho family to the staff of the Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their kindness and exceptional care. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sharon’s Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life which will commence on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church, 422 Tilden Ave., Utica. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Utica.
