Mrs. Lorre M. (Connor) Falange

UTICA – Mrs. Lorre M. (Connor) Falange, age 76, passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, with her family by her side to lead her into God’s hands. The daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Godlewski) Connor, Lorre was born on June 29, 1946. She was a graduate of T.R. Proctor High School. On September 30, 1967, she wed Dennis J. Falange, and the two soulmates shared a 23-year loving and devoted union prior to his passing on May 12, 1990. Lorre possessed a very strong will and fierce independent spirit. She channeled those qualities onto her family and was devoted to them. She was blessed with a beautiful, loving heart. Lorre would do anything for her friends and loved ones. A woman of humility, she was an exceptional and loving mother, who truly was beautiful both inside and out. She also had an “unfiltered” personality, and her sassiness will certainly live on in her family and friends memories. One of her favorite pastimes was going out to dinner, which she did consistently for over 20 years. Additionally, she never missed her monthly dinner gatherings with her special friends. She was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes. Lorre is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Deanna and Stephen Gotte, and Amanda Falange. She also cherished in her heart the memory of her beloved daughter, Lisa A. Falange who passed away unexpectedly exactly nine months prior to her on October 12, 2021. Lorre will be missed by her grandchildren, Bianca Gotte and Eddie Zegarelli, Gianna Gotte and Nick Ferrone; Rena Folino; Denisio Colon, and Donato Colon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins; and her in-laws, Karen Shiffler and her late husband John Shiffler. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Connor; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anthony and Louise (Della Gala) Falange; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Achille Richard “Dick” and Roseanne (Picente) Falange. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Crystal Sipley and Stacey Jaskolka, Lorre’s nurse practitioners, and the second floor and IMCU staff at MVHS at St. Luke’s Healthcare for their loving care and compassion. Lorre’s loved ones would also like to recognize Jean Gaffney, Mary Rose Diana, and Lydia Sarus, her dear friends, for their staunch loyalty and friendship. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 4-6 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Lorre’s Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 at the conclusion of visitation at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
