Mr. Angelo J. "Tiny" Pucine

Mr. Angelo J. Pucine, “Tiny” to his friends and family, at age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 23, 2016 while he and his wife Vanessa were visiting their son and daughter-in-law in Hollywood, Florida. Born on May 30, 1938, Angelo was the son of the late Frank A. and Theresa (Nole) Pucine. He graduated from Proctor High School in 1957 and enlisted in the US Army where he was stationed at the Panama Canal. Because of his computer training with the US Army, he found immediate employment after his military discharge with the General Electric Company where he spent 26 years at their Bleecker Street facility. After General Electric, Angelo worked at Casa Imports where he was once again involved with computers. He retired from Casa and filled his days happily spending time with his wife and his friends while also fitting in the Social Athletic Club (SAC) and the Casino. Angelo was always a kind, unselfish, and loyal person. Angelo leaves behind to miss him: Vanessa his wife of 30 years; his sister-in-law Yvonne D’Arts; his brother and wife Bill and Armarinda Pucine of Syracuse, his brother in law Nick Abdou; his sister-in-law Rita Pucine of Utica, his son and daughter-in-law Frank and Laura Pucine Hollywood FL, his step-son Michael Griffith of NYC; and his daughter Michele and husband Kevin Locke of Whitesboro; his grandchildren, Angelo Pucine, and Frank Pucine of FL, and Kierstin Locke of Whitesboro; and a great-granddaughter; and his many cousins, nieces, and nephews, of whom he was very fond. He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Abdou, and Evelyn Falvo; his brothers, Francis Pucine, and Richard Pucine; his brother-in-law, Anthony Falvo; and his grandson, Christopher Michael Locke. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-7 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. If so inclined, please omit flowers and consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Angelo's name; envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Angelo’s funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence on Friday morning at 9:00 from the funeral home and at 10:00 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish where his Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. James Cesta.
