Angeline T. (Reale) Marfone

Mrs. Angeline T. (Reale) Marfone, age 76, of Utica, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2007, at the St. Luke’s Home. Born in Utica on August 6, 1930, Angeline was the daughter of the late John and Maria Louise (Maggolini) Reale. She was raised and educated locally. On February 7, 1953 she married Paul Marfone with whom she shared 41 years of a loving union until his passing on April 10, 1994. A caring, fun-loving woman, Angeline was also a good listener whose life revolved around her family. She exemplified goodness. Among her other pursuits, she enjoyed the art of cooking and baking, and during her leisure time she took pleasure in bingo and trips to the Casino. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish. Angeline is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Nate Femia of New Hartford, and Paula and Don Hardy of Clinton; her sons, Paul Marfone, Jr. and his fiancée Belynda Riesel, and Mark Marfone, all of Utica; her grandchildren, Louie Timpano, Michael Timpano and Jamie Meyers, Nate Femia, Jr., and Jacquelyn Marfone; and her great-granddaughter, Bianca Timpano. Also surviving are her sisters, Catherine Giannico, Isabelle Torraco, both of Yorkville, and Antoinette Sullivan of New Mexico; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael L. and Sarah Reale of Utica, and Nicholas and Ruth Reale of Yorkville; her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and in-law, Margaret Reale of Utica. She also leaves many dear and cherished friends too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her brother, Ignazio Cosmo Reale; her sister and brother-in-law, Cecelia and Dick Gardinier; her brother-in-law, Sam Giannico; and her in-laws, Pat and Ceil Marfone. The family extends appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Campus for their care and attention. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9-11 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. By family request, please omit floral offerings. Angeline’s funeral service will commence on Wednesday at 11:00 from the funeral home and at 12:00 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish at Mt. Carmel Church where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
