Angeline Marie (Perry) Kinlock

Angeline Marie (Perry) Kinlock, age 91, formerly of Scott St., Utica, and more recently a resident of the St. Joseph Nursing Home, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2006, at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Born on January 2, 1915 in Dupont, PA, Angeline was the daughter of the late Philip and Grace (Scalzo) Perry. She was raised and educated in her native town. When she was a young woman, she came to Utica when her family relocated here. At one time she was married to the late Edward John Kinlock. At one time Angeline was employed at Savage Arms, where she was a conscientious and dependable worker. She also once held a position at Mele Manufacturing. Ever dedicated and attentive in caring for her family, she was an outstanding mother. When her children had families of their own, Angeline was deeply devoted to her grandchildren and, later, to their children, always taking an interest in and supporting their various activities and accomplishments, a pursuit which brought her great pride and joy. In her leisure time, she enjoyed using her exceptional talent as a seamstress and also her innate abilities with various arts and crafts, such as the natural and creative touch she brought to jewelry-making. A devout Catholic, she derived much pleasure and inspiration from visiting various religious shrines and attending church festivals. Angeline is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Rose Marie Moraco of Whitesboro, Marion E. Morris, and Phyllis and Anthony "Red" Ricco, all of Utica; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. and Laura Kinlock of Baldwinsville; seven grandchildren, Gary Moraco of Sauquoit and his friend, Sharlene, Richard Morris of Utica, Professor John P. Ricco, Ph.D. of Las Vegas, Anthony L. II and Lucia Ricco of New Hartford, Ross M. Ricco of Binghamton and his friend, Mary Korteweg, Alexander Joseph Kinlock and Nicole Lee Kinlock, both of Baldwinsville; and five great-grandchildren, Andrew, April, Crystal and their mother, Cindy Farrell, Sophia and Antonio. She was predeceased by her sons-in-law, Frank P. Moraco and Richard C. Morris; and a sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Joseph Russo. The family extends its sincere gratitude to the staff of the 4th floor at the St. Joseph Nursing Home, especially Jennifer. There will be no public visitation. Please omit floral offerings. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mrs. Kinlock's Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated on Monday afternoon at 1:00 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of Mass. Entombment will take place in the Calvary Mausoleum. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave.
