Heather Marie Valente Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Utica – Heather Marie Valente, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, with those she loved most in her heart. Heather was born in Utica on September 5, 1989, to Sean D. Cook and Tabitha L. (Valente) Cook. Heather graduated from T.R. Proctor High School. She was known to be very outgoing. She participated in a variety of activities with family and friends. She also enjoyed joyful music and dancing. Heather especially enjoyed spending time with her mother, brother, and children. They would often get together to go to the movies, shopping, go out to dinner, and share quality family time. She also enjoyed talking with her mother on the telephone when they could not be together in person. Heather also cherished communicating with her father frequently thru Face Time, as they did not live in the same state. Heather was loved by her family, and her parents and brother were devoted to her. She will greatly be missed. Heather is survived by her loving mother, Tabitha L. Valente Cook; her father, Sean Cook; and her brother, Robert. Heather is also survived by her son, Xavier Dodson; daughters, Trinessa, and Tanisha Valente. Heather will also be remembered by George Bray with whom she shared in a special relationship. She will be greatly missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. Heather was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Sandra Valente. A special mention to a very special relationship she shared with Lenny Atkins, Trixie Smith, and their family. Also, she is survived by her best friend James Cohen. The friendships she developed with these special people provided a strong support group that helped her navigate any obstacles that she was presented with. The Valente family entrusted Heather into the care of Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., and will remain forever grateful for their guidance. The family will honor and celebrate Heather’s life privately.
