Brandon Michael "B" Barretta Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

ROME – Mr. Brandon Michael “B” Barretta, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 12, 2022, with those he loved most in his heart. Brandon was born in Layton, UT, on December 13, 1984, to Dennis M. and Robin M. (Geer) Barretta. In 1998, Brandon relocated with his family to the Utica area, where he graduated from New Hartford High School. Brandon worked a variety of jobs within the food industry. At one time, Brandon was employed by Burger King and then later took a position at Price Chopper. This was followed by his working in several local-area restaurants. Lastly, Brandon made a career change and accepted a position working for Owl Wire and Cable Inc. as a Machine Operator. A very quiet man, Brandon was known for being a good listener. He was a good son to his parents and was always willing to lend a hand. Brandon additionally enjoyed his many passions: sports, music, movies, and fashion. An avid Yankees fan, he also enjoyed watching the Jets and supported all the NY teams. His love of music led him to a wide variety of styles and genres, which was revealed in his diverse music collection. Brandon’s favorite movies were action thrillers, mirroring his preferred style of video games. Brandon was very trendy and boasted a large collection of baseball hats with sneakers to match. Brandon is survived by his parents, Robin and Joseph Felski, Jr.; and Dennis and Wendy Pickens. He will live on in the heart of his brother, Brian Barretta, and was preceded by his brother, Bryce A. “Dude” Barretta, on February 14, 2021. Brandon leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Melodie Linkowski, Lorna and Cliff Woodworth, Jackie Barretta, and Carmen Barretta. Brandon was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Frank A. Barretta; his maternal grandparents, Curtis and Mary Geer; his aunt, Mary Barretta; his uncle, Raymond Barretta; and his uncle, Frank Barretta, Jr. The family would like to express their gratitude to the hospital staff at Oneida Health, for their care and compassion. Robin also wishes to thank her co-workers at the DSS at Oneida County Office Building, for their solace and support. Visitation for Brandon will be held on Saturday, June 18th from 3:30-4:30 at Eannace Funeral Home Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Brandon’s Celebration of Life will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 4:30 at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
