Mrs. Angela Marie (Trino) Jackson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

UTICA – Mrs. Angela Marie (Trino) Jackson, age 88, was reunited with her husband and loved ones when she passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2022, with family members at her side. Born in Utica on June 20, 1933, to the late Fred M. and Anna A. (DeSarro) Trino, Angela was raised and educated in Utica schools and was a graduate of T.R. Proctor High School. Angela married her love, Dominick R. Jackson, on February 23, 1952. The couple, who were focused on family life, cared greatly for each other throughout their union. The pair was blessed to share over 62 years together prior to Dominick’s passing on November 30, 2014. Angela’s professional life began with her experiences in the Oneida County Clerk’s Office. Subsequently, her career path led her to a supervisory role at Norstar Bank, known today as Bank of America. Angela was a loving and kind mother, who always did whatever was required to ensure that the needs of her family were always met. Angela’s family was always her priority. She was both a caretaker and determined individual, whose interior motivation and selflessness served as life lessons for her family. Angela’s infectious smile and laughter were hallmarks always counted on by her friends and family. Angela was a good friend and during her lifetime, she experienced the blessing of numerous friendships, both lifelong and in recent years. Angela always enjoyed visiting and conversing with her friends and family members; always providing support to those in difficult times. During her life, Angela enjoyed reading, and hobbies such as ceramics and crocheting. Angela leaves behind her daughter, Debra and her husband Kenneth Gibbs, her son, Richard Jackson and his partner Molly Thatcher, and her son, Donald Jackson and his partner Lorrie Nixon. She will live on in the hearts of her 14 grandchildren, and her 25 great-grandchildren. Angela will be missed by her sister, Anne R. Sterling who was predeceased by her husband Joseph C. Sterling. She was preceded by her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony “Doc” and Erminia “Minnie” Trino; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Anne (Chambrone) Jackson; and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty Jane and William R. “Bill” Willis. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Angela’s Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life which will commence on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home and 11:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, Lourdes Campus, 2222 Genesee St. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery.
