Timothy S. "Timmy" Taylor

UTICA – Timothy S. “Timmy” Taylor, 35, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, and was lovingly reunited with his mother in paradise. Born in Utica on October 20, 1989, Timmy was the beloved son of the late Vickey (Crockett) Taylor. He attended Albany Street Elementary School and proudly graduated from T.R. Proctor High School. Timmy was a happy-go-lucky young man who brought joy and laughter to those around him. He cherished moments spent with friends and loved ones. At times, he could be described as an incorrigible flirt, charming the nurses who cared for him with his purposeful, mischievous smile. Timmy was very fond of animals and relished the company of pets. His love for animals—and for movies—began when he was a young boy, often watching Free Willy on repeat. In fact, he played the movie so many times that the VHS tape wore out! He also enjoyed watching television, especially when the Buffalo Bills were playing, as he liked to playfully rebel against his Patriots upbringing. Timmy’s all-time favorite hobby, though, was listening to music. Timmy treasured the memory of his dear mother, Vickey. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Roger Rebisz; only niece, Chloe Rebisz; aunts and uncle, Pat Crockett, and Penny and Bryan Bolstridge; cousin, Joshua Bolstridge; and many lifelong friendships. In his earlier years, he was grateful to have a special friend, Brenda Tripp, who lovingly cared for him and with whom he shared a special bond. In more recent years, he became close with his nurse, Christine who fought to ensure the best of care for her dear friend, Timmy. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Phyllis (Crockett) and Clifton “Kip” Richmond. The family is forever thankful for the staff at Upstate Caring Partners for their years of dedication to the needs and care of their beloved Timmy. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. Timmy’s funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those unable to attend may be present virtually at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84509651969. Inurnment will take place in Pleasant View Cemetery in Maine at the convenience of the family.
