Mr. Timothy J. Lavier

NY Mills – Mr. Timothy J. Lavier, age 52, unexpectedly transitioned into eternal life on Monday, September 26, 2022, to be with his beloved wife who preceded him only one month prior. Timothy was born in New Hartford, NY on June 10, 1970, to his beloved parents, Alfred and Carol (Trzcinski) Lavier. He was blessed to have created so many wonderful friendships in the Utica area where he grew up and attended Utica Free Academy. On March 19, 1994, Timothy married his greatest friend and love, the former Marie A. Constabile. The couple was truly a perfect match, and their relationship knew the depths of unconditional love. This was particularly shown when Timothy experienced a life-altering injury. During those trying times, Marie stood tall and was his greatest support, his rock. The pair were humbly devoted to each other throughout their 28 wonderful years together. Many treasured memories were made prior to Marie’s untimely passing on August 25, 2022. Timothy’s professional career consisted of being a full-time bus driver with UTA/Centro. He remained steadfast in this role up until his injury in 2008. During his career as a bus driver, Timothy took an immense amount of pride in what he did. He created so many cherished memories and bonds with those he served and interacted with. For leisure, Timothy loved to play a variety of games, with his favorite being pitch. He especially enjoyed playing pitch with his dad and sister. One of Timothy’s most treasured hobbies included spending time with his family. Further, he enjoyed his fellow congregants and all of the activities associated with his Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 229. Timothy was always the life of the party. He had an engaging and warm personality, and when people were in his presence, he warmed them with his heart of graciousness and his selfless attitude. Timothy loved sports and was especially delighted to watch his kids take to the field and basketball court. His favorites were baseball, basketball, and professional football. Additionally, he loved to go fishing and camping with friends and family, and he especially treasured the memories he made with each fishing adventure he took with his brother-in-law to St. Lawrence River. Timothy was more than just a member of Centerpoint Christian Fellowship in Barneveld, NY. In fact, he was an integral part of the mission and ministry of Centerpoint Church. A man with a steadfast devotion to God, his strength and unwavering faith made him an inspiration to those he met. Timothy is survived by his father and his wife, Alfred and Eileen Lavier; his mother, Carol Graves and her late husband Ray Graves; his children and their loves, Shana M. Lavier and Jake Ravinski, and Timothy J. “TJ” Lavier Jr. and Natalie Hobin. He will be fondly remembered by his sister and her husband, Debbie and Joe Schorer; and his brother, Raymond Graves. Timothy will live on in the hearts of his beloved in-laws, Anthony R. “Tony” Constabile III, and Barbara A. and Pastor Wayne H. Clemens; as well as his Godsons, Anthony Case and Spencer Constabile. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins; and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anthony R. and Marie A. (Olivadoti) Constabile. Timothy was the type of person who knew and had many friendships throughout his life, but it would be remiss not to mention the long-time close bond he shared with Steve Kaelin, Brian Lavier, Pastor Mark Hediger, and Mike Boccardo. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the NY Mills Chief of Police, Robert Frankland, the responders of Kunkel Ambulance, and the NY Mills Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue, for their valiant efforts and compassion. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at Centerpoint Christian Fellowship Church and Ministries, 8021 NY-12, Barneveld NY. Timothy’s Celebration of Life will commence at 6:00 at the church. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
