Tiffany L. "Tiff" Linen

Tiffany L. “Tiff” Linen, age 27, of Utica, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 21, 2008 when she passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Utica on October 10, 1980, Tiffany is the daughter of Sandra “Sandy” (Wooding) Linen and Freddie Linen, Sr. She was raised in Utica and attended local schools. Tiff was a happy and determined person by nature, and when she committed herself to a task, she truly made an effort to complete it. Her smile would warm a room, a characteristic which allowed her to be quite the charmer. As a loving mother, she was most proud of her children and put them first in her heart. She provided them with the best of things, and most importantly, with love. She had an ability to be generous and supportive to those who needed a friend, and she enjoyed weekend barbecues and holidays with family and friends, where all would be aware of her presence and her take-charge personality. She was an avid reader and a talented dancer. She was of the Catholic faith. Tiffany is survived by her mother and step-father, Sandy Linen and Darrell B. Brown, Sr.; her father and step-mother, Freddie, Sr. and Mary Linen; her beloved daughters, Ti’Yanna W. Fowler, and Heaven C. Linen, and their father, Robert C. Stevenson; her maternal grandmother, Edna Zinnerman of FL; her sister, Carlandra N. Wooding and her fiancé Dennis D. Evans of FL; her brothers, Freddie “Woodie” Linen, Jr., and Darrell B. Brown, Jr., both of Utica; her step-sister, Shantel Eaton of Buffalo; several aunts and uncles, with special mention of her uncle, Dana L. “Lover” Wooding of Utica; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves her best friends, Andrea “Teen” Scott, Mark “Biz” Minor, and many other friends including her special companion, Tony. She was predeceased by Gregory Burns who Tiffany and her family considered to be like a second father to her. Visitation will be held Thursday (today) from 6:00-8:00 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. For those wishing to do so, please consider memorial donations in Tiffany’s honor to the family, enabling them to set up an educational fund for Tiff’s children; envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Tiffany’s funeral service will commence on Friday morning at 10:00 at Historic Old St. John’s Church where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery
