Sheila A. (Tagliere) Perritano

DUNMORE, PA - Sheila A. (Tagliere) Perritano, age 75, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness. Born in Rome, NY on June 21, 1947 to the late Dominick and Felicia (Femia) Tagliere, she was a graduate of T. R. Proctor High School/Class of 1965. Following high school, she attended beauty school in Utica and became a licensed beautician. At one time, she was married to the late Sam Noti, and to that relationship came the blessing of a daughter, Denise, whom they both adored. Having lived in several parts of the country over the years, she relocated to Pennsylvania, where she has since resided. A dynamic salesperson, she found employment with RCN, a telecommunications company until her retirement. Sheila will be remembered by those who loved her as a loyal, loving person above anything else. She had a wonderful sense of humor that never failed to bring joy to others and created precious memories. She was sincere in everything she did and every aspect of her life. She enjoyed maintaining relationships by keeping an active social life, and spending many quality hours talking on the phone. She possessed an empathetic nature, and never failed to help others. Always one to root for the underdog, she had a compassionate heart and never gave up on anyone. She held an unconditional love for all those she cared for. A dog lover, she held a special place of affection for her two companions Pacino and Mishu. She also had a creative streak and enjoyed crocheting creative afghans to give as gifts as a reminder of her love for others. Never one to keep anything for herself, she passed on her talent and knowledge of this craft to her daughter. Sheila is survived by her beloved daughter, Denise Noti Titus; her grandchild, Kaeley Zatorski and MandiJo Tenza and Kaeley’s father Daniel Zatorski; members of the Zatorski and Warren Families; her brother, Dominick Tagliere; and Adam, with whom she shared a special bond and adoration. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, especially acknowledging Terri Romano, who has been as sister through her constant love during Sheila’s life. Sheila adored the blessing of Terri’s kindness. She also shared a close relationship with her cousin, Julianne Zagarelli, who was very special to her. She is survived, too, by her aunt Rose Bucciero, who had been a second mother, mentor, confidant, and go-to person through good and bad times; and many friends in Utica and Pennsylvania. She was preceded by her infant nephew, Dominick Tagliere, Jr. In keeping with her wishes, Sheila’s family will honor and commemorate her life privately. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sheila’s Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish, 684 Jay St., Utica. There will be an opportunity to greet the family at the conclusion of the Mass. Sheila will be laid to rest in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
