Mrs. Rose T. (Angelicchio) Nobles

UTICA - Mrs. Rose T. (Angelicchio) Nobles, age 92, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Sitrin Health Care Center with her loving family and “Rosie’s Angels” by her side. Born in Herkimer NY on April 9, 1926, Rose was the daughter of the late Antonio and Jennie (Colonna) Angelicchio. She was raised and educated in Herkimer. On August 14, 1965 she married Stanley J. Nobles with whom she shared 46 years in a loving union prior to his passing on September 16, 2011. Very accomplished in the art of sewing, Rose held a position as a seamstress with Gordon’s Clothing. As a matriarch, Rose was a selfless, devoted mother and caregiver to her husband and daughter, always placing their needs first. She had a beautiful smile that warmed your heart and made you smile in turn. A family oriented woman, she had a beautiful relationship with her siblings and she adored the time and the memories derived from her “Herkimer family”. Rose had special knack for baking her well-loved holiday cookies. She practiced her Catholic faith as a communicant of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish. Rose is survived by her daughter, Lori Ann Nobles and Joe Rella of New Hartford; and her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Mike Aceto of Herkimer. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and in-laws. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Bernard R. “Billy” and Josephine R. Angelicchio, Dominick “Mickey” Angelicchio, and Vito and Frances A. Angelicchio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucy and Arminio Lidano, Louise and John F. Gardinier, Antoinette Angelicchio, and Genevieve “Chickie” Angelicchio; and her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sophia Nobles, Mary and Carl Nobles, and Marguerite and John Nobles. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of the Sitrin Health Care Center, especially acknowledging the Hawthorn House and “Rosie’s Angels” for their loving care and compassion. Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00-7:00 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Rose's funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence on Saturday morning at 9:00 from the funeral home and at 10:00 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish where her Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. James Cesta. Interment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
