Mrs. Marie A. (Olivadoti) Constabile

NEW YORK MILLS - Mrs. Marie A. (Olivadoti) Constabile, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Eastern Star Home with her loving family by her side, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Utica on December 18, 1940, Marie was the daughter of the late John Olivadoti and Frances (Marchitelli) Urbanski. She also knew the love of her late step-father Charles Urbanski. Raised and educated locally, she was a graduate of T.R. Proctor High School. On April 22, 1961 she married Anthony R. Constabile with whom she shared a special union of over 33 years prior to his passing on February 22, 1995. Marie was proud to have been affiliated with various retail stores during her working years. It was a line of work for which she was well suited because of her friendly rapport with people. From her positions she made long lasting relationships. Marie relocated to Florida in 1993, and upon her husband’s passing in 1995, she returned home to Utica. She enjoyed crocheting and sharing her creations with her loved ones. She was a member of Centerpoint Christian Fellowship Church. Marie was unconditionally non-judgmental of others and she shared God’s love with all. She was caring and very devoted to her family and their needs, and she treasured the time spent with her grandchildren. Their love gave her the will to live. Marie leaves a legacy of loyalty to her loved ones, and kindness to all those met during her life. Marie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara A. and Pastor Wayne H. Clemens of Barneveld, and Marie and Timothy Lavier of NY Mills; her son, Anthony R. Constabile, III of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Brian W. and Deanna Clemens, Tricia A. and Adam Hall, Stephanie Rae Clemens; Shana Lavier, Timothy “T.J.” Lavier Jr.; Anthony Constabile, Spencer Constabile, Brianna Constabile, Nicholas Constabile, and Sara Constabile; her sister, Bernadette Bates of NY Mills; and sister-in-law, Marylou Olivadoti of Bridgeport. She also leaves her aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and in-laws, Marietta “Marty” Constabile, Bonnie Constabile, and Matthew Militano. She was predeceased by her brothers, Steven A. Olivadoti Sr., and John Olivadoti. The family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses, and caregivers for their professional expertise and guidance; and the staff of the Williams Unit at the Eastern Star Home, especially acknowledging Shelly Kaelin for going well beyond the call of duty in providing Marie with the best care possible. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Marie’s Celebration of Life will commence on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation with her son-in-law, Pastor Wayne Clemens officiating the ceremony. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
