Mrs. Lisa A. (Warner) Mason

UTICA - Mrs. Lisa A. (Warner) Mason, age 54, was reunited with her husband on Friday July 14, 2017 when she passed away unexpectedly at the Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Center with her loving family at her side. Born in Gloversville, NY on October 13, 1962, Lisa was the daughter of Beverly (Sanborn) Warner and the late Murl E. Warner. She attended Northville and Adirondack Central Schools. In 1981 she married James J. “Doc” Mason, Sr. with whom she shared 33 years in a close union. They were in love and inseparable. They had a good life together and Lisa has missed him and held him in her heart since he departed this life on July 16, 2014. Over the years, Lisa held several positions locally including Bradlee’s Department Store, the Oneida County Mail Room, and Salvatore’s Bakery. Currently, she was employed by Wilcor International as a Supervisor. Lisa carried out her responsibilities eagerly and with great devotion. She loved her work, and the owners appreciated her work ethic and treated her like family. Lisa and her mom were the best of friends and Lisa respected her and kept in touch with her. Lisa was a kind heart, a confidant, and a great listener. She will be remembered as a beautiful sister who was dependable and had a great smile. She went out of her way to help other people. She loved to have a good time, yet she had a reserved side. Since her husband passed, her family tried to help her get through lonely, sad days by keeping them filled with activity. Lisa loved to travel with her husband and visits to the casino were exciting. Any time her family could get together she was happy, and she really liked cook-outs, especially at her sister’s camp where she could relax and unwind. When her adventurous side kicked in, she would take a ride with her family and friends. Lisa was of the Protestant faith and was uplifted when she attended church services. She put her trust in God. Lisa is survived by her mother, Beverly Davis and Bob Nellenbach. She also had a caring relationship with her Mom’s predeceased husband, Tom Davis. She will be remembered by her siblings and their loves, Tammy Lee Warner and Henry Darby, Kelly S. and Kenny Webster, Loretta Lynn and Chris Leach, and Tyrone “Eric” Thomas Davis. She was preceded by her sister, Kimberly Lynn Warner in 1992. She also leaves her step-sons Maurice Goldsborough, and James J. Mason Jr., and their loves; her nieces and nephews, Eric Joseph Warner; Erin Lee and David Dragan, Sara Michelle Merritt, Cody Sperry, Cassidy Lynn Merritt, Leigha Elizabeth Leach, Elijah Christopher Leach; Autumn Sarah Davis; Bev, Lisa, Demetrius, Melissa, Kenneth, Toysette, and Danielle; many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and sister-in-law Linda Mason. She was also blessed with a sister-like relationship with Tracy Goppert. The family is grateful to Dr. Nicholas Qandah, and Dr. Scott Brehaut for their knowledge, kindness, honesty, and patience; and the entire ICU staff at the Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Center for their medical expertise and compassionate care; Karen Corrigan and Susan Corrigan, Lisa’s employers and friends, for their support and presence which will never be forgotten. They will be blessed for all they did. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00-12:00 noon at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. By family request, please omit flowers. Lisa’s funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence on Friday at 12:00 noon at the funeral home immediately upon conclusion of visitation with Sister Elizabeth Giarrusso, CSJ officiating the ceremony. Interment will take place graveside in King Northampton Cemetery in Northville.
