Lisa Ann Fitch

UTICA – Lisa Ann Fitch, age 55, entered into eternal rest and was reunited with her mom and dad when she passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Born in Utica on September 18, 1969, Lisa was the daughter of the late Earl Raymond “Ray” and Barbara J. (Jacobs) Fitch. She attended Utica City Schools and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy/Class of 1987. On June 23, 1998, Lisa was blessed with a beautiful son, Patrick F. Breen, Jr., who she loved dearly. She was employed with the Genesee Nursing Home, caregivers at St. Luke’s Hospital, the Arc Oneida-Lewis, and later with the Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL), from which she retired in 2015. Lisa found joy in camping at the St. Lawrence River, Sylvan Beach, and Crystal Lake Park with her family and friends. She loved listening to music, especially Bon Jovi and Metallica. She enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and attending Utica University Hockey games with her son. She also found pleasure in adventurous car rides and watching thunderstorms. Lisa is survived by her beloved son, Patrick Fitzgerald Breen, Jr.; and beloved brother, Jon Joseph Fitch. She held close to her heart the memory of her sister, Kim Marie Jacobs, who preceded her on September 11, 2013. She is additionally survived by her cherished niece, Jamie Lynn Piper; treasured great-nephew and great-niece, Nathan John Donlyuk, and Jailynn Rose Seelman; great-great-nephew, Grayson Donlyuk; beloved aunts and uncle, James “BUM” and Sharon Jacobs (who were also Lisa’s godparents), and Maryanne Fitch; and many cousins. Lisa also leaves her very special friend, Laura Kellogg-Stockton, who was like a “sister” to her. She was additionally predeceased by her maternal grandparents, James and Doris Jacobs; paternal grandparents, Linus and Lela Fitch; and aunts and uncles, Mary and Bob Peltier, Lynn and Josie Fitch, Lela and John Beatty, Jack Fitch, Harry and Ethel Fitch, James Fitch, Gertrude Webster, and Betty and George Beyers. Lisa’s son, Patrick, would like to thank his uncle, Jon; cousin, Julie Jacobs-Laribee; his sisters, Vickie, and Jessie Breen; and friend, Bruce Knowles, for their love and empathy and for being with him at the time of her passing. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Lisa’s Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life will commence on Friday morning, October 4, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home and at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart & St. Mary’s Our Lady of Czestochowa, 201 Main St., NY Mills.
