Lisa A. Falange

UTICA - Lisa A. Falange, age 46, departed this life on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, the result of an unforeseen passing. Born in Utica on February 11, 1975, Lisa was the daughter of Lorre (Connor) Falange and the late Dennis J. Falange. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Grammar School and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School/Class of 1993. She continued her studies by attending MVCC. At one time, she shared in a relationship with Joseph “Joe” Folino and to that union came the blessing of their cherished daughter. Lisa was part of the CNY Cardiology family for over 20 years as an Administrative Assistant. Her time spent with patients, doctors, staff, and co-workers reflected her personality as a perfect fit for her line of work. Her second passion was being part of the Stonebridge family as a welcoming face to greet the patrons. She was so classy and charming, it’s no wonder she was admired and appreciated by those who frequented the establishment. Frank Carcone, who could be defined as a gentle and kind man, watched over Lisa and her sister, Amanda, as if they were his own daughters. Frank’s good will and watchfulness will remain in the hearts of the entire Falange family. In reflection, there would be no doubt that Lisa would want the Monday Night Golf League members to be dually noted as a group that shared great camaraderie. A genuine, good-natured young woman, Lisa had a smile on her face and a bubbly softness in her actions. She was fun-loving, and it has been said that Lisa was like a bottle of champagne ~ off goes the top and the bubbles pop and pop! When Lisa walked into a room, her beauty was noticed, her smile was engaging, and her style was stunning. She loved to socialize, and her energy was amazing. She had such pride in her appearance, but she was just as charming in her casual attire. In essence, one could see Lisa’s soul by looking into her big, sparkling eyes that reflected her beautiful soul. Her daughter, Rena, stands out as Lisa’s greatest love, and they were one and the same; Rena will forever hold her beautiful mom in her heart. As a daughter, Lisa had a wonderful relationship with her mom, and Lisa and her sister Amanda were besties, BFF sisters, and they shared life in so many ways. It was Deanna who thought that Lisa was “Johnny-on-the-spot” and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her nieces and nephews, in fact, she loved them with such enthusiasm that they could never ever forget her. Being with her family, especially during the holidays was party time. As the night went on the voices got louder, and so did the volume! The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes was her home parish. Lisa knew the Lord and was blessed with a personal relationship through His divine wisdom and mercy. Lisa is survived by her mom, Lorre; her daughter, Rena Folino, and her dad Joe Folino; and her sisters and their loves, Deanna and Stephen Gotte, and Amanda Falange and fiancé Jimmy Marino. She was “Aunt WeWe” to her cherished nieces and nephews, Bianca Gotte and Eddie Zegarelli, Gianna Gotte and Nick Ferrone; Denisio (named after Lisa’s father, Dennis) Colon, and Donato Colon. She also leaves her aunt, Karen Shiffler and her husband the late John Shiffler; great-aunts, great-uncles; and cousins, Anthony and Naomi Falange, George Falange, Louise Falange, Eric Shiffler, and Katie and Jim Brown. Lisa had many years filled with treasured memories with one of her best friends, Jodi Murray-Davis, and those times and bond will never be forgotten. Lisa was loved by so many additional friends, too numerous to enumerate. She was predeceased by her beloved father, Dennis J. Falange; paternal grandparents, Anthony and Louise (Della Gala) Falange; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Mary (Godlewski) Connor; uncles and aunt, Achille Richard “Dick” and Roseanne (Picente) Falange, and Robert Connor. The family will honor and commemorate her life privately. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lisa’s funeral service and Celebration of Life which will commence on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 1:00 at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish (Church of Our Lady of Lourdes), 2222 Genesee St., Utica. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of the service. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
