Kimberly R. (McKinney) Muldoon

UTICA – Kimberly R. (McKinney) Muldoon, age 55, is now at rest, having passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Born in Utica on February 25, 1968, Kimberly was the daughter of Regina (McKinney) Timpson. She also knew the love and guidance of her stepfather, the late Louis R. Baldanza. She was raised locally, and on becoming a mother herself, she also worked diligently to earn her GED. During her lifetime, she counted her two daughters and one son as her greatest blessings. She forged her career as a CNA, taking pride in caring for her clients, having worked at the Folts Home, and Valley Health Services, both in Herkimer, and the Masonic Care Community of NY. She also acquired her phlebotomy license, which assisted her in her job positions. Kimmy was strong-willed and had passionate intentions, but her purpose was to be protective toward those she loved. As a mom, she was supportive, tenacious, and spirited – always with a mother’s heart. She never shied away from telling her children she loved them. Her motherhood made her a better person. The best of her heart belonged to her children. She also dearly loved her siblings, who were always there for anything important to her. She loved to laugh – which sounded like Woody Woodpecker. She was an immaculate housekeeper, with many rules, when in her home. To her, organization was paramount. She never even hesitated to rearrange her children’s homes! An outdoorswoman at heart, Kimberly loved the sun and swimming, spending much of her time at Sylvan Beach. She appreciated her peaceful time there as her sanctuary. For entertainment she loved scary movies, and her genres of music ranged from classic rock to country. It was music that truly soothed her soul. Another of her favorite pastimes was cooking, and she earned fame for her baked chicken. She also made wonderful memories serving up delicious meats using techniques she learned from her mother. She had faith, and often reminded her children “God loves you,” as well as reminding herself on so many occasions. Kimberly is survived by her mother, Regina; her children, Kelly Bennett and her husband Elliot “Macho” Correa, Vanessa Bennett and Zachary Conte, and Julian Guarascio; her adored grandchildren, Elliot Jr., and Camilla; Julius, Ariela, and Christian. She further leaves her precious memory to her siblings, Daniel and Lisa Baldanza, Louis Baldanza, and Rosalie Richard; her aunt Janet McKinney (and her late husband James); her nieces and nephews, Kiana Richard, and Karina Richard; Louis, David and Rebecca, and Nicholas Baldanza, and the memory of her nephew, Alex Baldanza, who is now an angel; and her great-nephew, Jovanni, and great-niece, Giana. The family will commemorate Kimberly’s life at a private time.
