Kelly M. Moore

Our family is regretfully announcing the unexpected passing of our mother, daughter and sister, Kelly Morgan Moore. She transitioned to a higher plane on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at the age of 48. Kelly was born in Utica on January 21, 1975 to Harold “Eddie” Jr. and Annette A. (Duniec) Moore. She was a graduate of T. R. Proctor High School/Class of 1993. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Financing from SUNY IT. Everyone will remember Kelly as an authentic person. She was always true to herself. She channeled her inner energies and viewed life as trusting the universe. She believed that our actions and persona need to be “in check,” and you get what you receive as a result of what you put into life. Kelly felt that expressing gratitude is important for raising our vibration and positive energy. She knew the frequency that supported healing, relationships, personal growth, and so much more that enhances one’s life. Kelly was a Reiki Master, frequently drew Tarot and Oracle cards and relied on meditation as a source of healing and guidance. Aside from her spirituality, Kelly enjoyed spending time in nature, especially the Adirondacks. She drew energy from the sun and the moon. There was not a minute of time in Kelly’s life that she wasn’t surrounded by and immersed in music. Kelly was an engaging and fierce “momma bear.” Her home was always open, a place where she facilitated many memorable times for her daughters. Kelly, Gabrielle, and Sophia walked through life as the power of three. Kelly shared her transcending wisdom which will now be used to lead them in their lives. Kelly always kept her heart and home open to all living beings. Kelly loved her three dogs and two cats which were like her additional children. She always had pets in her home, and they were always a perfect match to her personality. Kelly took her self-care seriously and always wanted to feel her best. She always had a fresh set of nails, and a raspberry iced tea. We spent every Sunday dinner together as a family knowing that Kelly was probably going to be late. Dinner conversations frequently are animated over sports. As an avid fan, she would bet you right now that the Yankees will win. Kelly is survived by the loves of her life, Gabrielle Edi and Sophia Grace Valeriano. She will forever be missed by her parents, Eddie and Annette. She is reuniting with her brother, Eddie. She spent her life missing him. Surviving are her little sisters, Anne (her girlfriend Allie Pierce) and Mariangela (her husband John Bronga). Kelly was truly enamored by her niece, Cora. Additionally, she is survived by a very large, loving family, including aunts, uncles, and cousins. She shared a special relationship with her godfather and his son. Kelly leaves behind her person, Ben Cooper. We want to extend our gratitude towards the entire Cooper Family who has always treated our family as their own. Kelly is being welcomed by many loving family members including both sets of grandparents, and her Aunt Clara and Uncle Angelo. She was deeply affected by the losses of her brother, Eddie; and her cousins, Michael, and Louis. Relatives and loved ones are welcome to attend a memorial visitation, which will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm. at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. The gathering will conclude at 4:00 p.m. when a time of meditation will be offered. Please consider arriving 15 minutes late as a homage to Kelly!
