Mrs. Josephine M. "Feenie" (Cittadino) Allora

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL/UTICA - Mrs. Josephine M. “Feenie” (Cittadino) Allora, age 69, passed away on April 9, 2018 with the love and comfort of her family by her side. Born in Utica on July 8, 1948, Josephine was the daughter of the late John A., Sr. and Lucy R. (DePalma) Cittadino. Raised and educated in Utica, she was a graduate of T.R. Proctor High School/Class of 1966. She could not have found a more loving and devoted husband than Anthony J. Allora. They were a happy couple and he was by her side and cared for her throughout her illness. Feenie was a free spirited, gentle-hearted woman, but she could be so funny, and such a character. The camp at Sylvan Beach was the family summer home and was open to all. It was a place that held happy memories for her, especially when she was a kid growing up with siblings and cousins at the camp every summer. It was her nature to nurture, and she was a mother who taught her kids to show kindness and respect to all and treat people as they themselves would like to be treated. This was the legacy of her life. She showed such will power and wanted a chance to live life to its fullest. She strived to remain active and retain a positive attitude despite her health problems. She did the best she could, whenever she could. Feenie felt blessed to be married to a good man and have children who loved and honored her, and they will remember her laughter and credit her for encouraging them to pursue and prosper in all their life’s endeavors. Josephine is survived by her husband, Tony; her son, Philip Belmonte; her daughter, Jessica Allora Schwartz and her husband Jesse; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Paris, and Lane; Tristen, and Sidney. She also leaves her sister, Luana Davis; her brothers and their loves, Andrew J. “Andy” Cittadino and Marie Sharak, James A. “Jim” Cittadino, and Michael A. and Joan Cittadino; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, Sarah P. Cittadino, and Connie Cittadino; and numerous friends who remained in contact with her. She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Jim Bice; brothers, Joseph A. Cittadino, and John A. Cittadino, Jr.; and in-laws, Thomas W. Davis, and Doris Cittadino. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Service and Celebration of Life which will commence on Thursday at 12:00 noon at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish where her Memorial Mass will be offered by Fr. James Cesta. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of Mass.
