Mrs. Helen (Sharuda) Wisheart

FRANKFORT – Mrs. Helen (Sharuda) Wisheart, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the age of 67. Helen spent her life dedicated to caring for others. She was a selfless and beautiful soul, loved by all who were blessed to meet her. Helen was a safe space for all- family, friends, and neighbors alike all felt loved unconditionally in her presence. She opened her home to anyone in need, always striving to provide any little bit of support and stability that she was able. She was the light in the dark, taken far too soon. Her absence in this world will be felt deeply by many. She was a firm believer in God, that everything happens for a reason, and that tomorrow is a new day, no matter what happened the day before. Helen was a lifelong friend, confidant, and protector- especially to her sisters, granddaughters, and nieces. There existed an incredible bond between her and her sisters. She spoke to both of her sisters and her mother daily, sometimes multiple times a day. She loved and cared for her mother until the very end, always stressing the importance of respecting, caring for, and appreciating those who have cared for you. A trait that she passed on to her children and grandchildren, evident by their love and care for her during her yearlong battle with cancer. Helen spent 50 full years with her husband, John Wisheart. She was mother to two boys, Joshua Wisheart, and Jeremy and his wife Bobbie Wisheart; and two stepsons, the late John Wisheart, and Jeffrey and his wife Jessica Wisheart- those boys gave her life joy and adventure, she loved the hustle and bustle of a full house of kids and enjoyed every milestone that their lives provided. That full house was quickly full of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Being a part of their lives fulfilled her beyond measure, every laugh and smile gave her a purpose, and she made each and every one of them feel like the center of her world. Helen is survived by her husband; children; mother, Mary Prylepa; sisters and brother-in-law, Olga May, and Nina and Frank Mucitelli; brother, Nick Sharuda; and a brood of love in grandchildren, Marissa Wisheart (Eric McTighe), and Madison Wisheart (daughters of Joshua); Riley Wisheart, Brayden Wisheart, and Cruz Wisheart (children of Jeremy); nieces and nephews, Nicole Sharuda (daughter of Nick); Janay Buehler (Dan), Jovon Mucitelli, and Jacob Mucitelli (children of Nina); and great-niece, Olivia Buehler (daughter of Janay) Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. By family request please omit floral offerings. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Helen’s Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life which will commence on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Historic Old St. John’s Church, 240 Bleecker St. Interment will follow in St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
