Denise C. (Presite) Maciolek

Mrs. Denise C. (Presite) Maciolek, age 57, of Clinton, went home to be with the Lord when she passed away on Monday, December 8, 2008 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. Born in Clinton, NY on February 15, 1951, Denise was the daughter of the late Dennis and Bertha (Scalzo) Presite. Raised and educated in Clinton, she was a 1969 graduate of Clinton High School. On July 25, 1970 she wed Robert M. Maciolek; together they shared a loving and supportive marriage during their 38 year union. Denise was employed by the Madison-Oneida County Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) for over 10 years in a clerical position. Much of her pleasure in life came from raising her children and caring for her home. Her dreams came true with the blessing of her two daughters, as she saw them mature in life and work hard to achieve their successes in becoming who they are. She also loved to spoil her grandchildren and spend time with them. Denise took part in the beauty of nature when she tended to her vegetable and floral gardens. She was a nutritional enthusiast and during her spare time, she enjoyed searching for antiques and frequenting garage sales. Endowed with the gifts of compassion and love, she formed meaningful relationships with many people. She cherished her personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and was currently attending The Lord’s House Church in Westmoreland. Denise is survived by her husband, Robert; her daughters and son-in-law, Diane and Charles Estrella of Clinton, and Amy Estrella of New Hartford; and her grandchildren, Madeline Estrella and Donato Estrella, both of Clinton. Survivors also include her sisters and brother-in-law, Louise Teachout, and Mary Jane Presite and friend Richard Marley, all of Clinton, and Elizabeth and Lionel Aselton of FL; her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and brother-in-law, Stephen Maciolek of PA. Denise was also blessed with many wonderful friendships over the years. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Calvin Teachout. The family extends a special thank-you to the prayer warriors whose passionate intercessions were so meaningful to Denise and her family. Visitation will be held Thursday (today) from 4:00-7:00 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Denise’s Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 immediately upon the conclusion of visitation with the Rev. Charles Pucillo officiating. Interment will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
