Mrs. Angeline M. "Angie" (Palmieri) Pazzola

UTICA/LOUDONVILLE, NY - Mrs. Angeline M. “Angie” (Palmieri) Pazzola, age 96, joined her loved ones who went before her when she passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017. Born in Utica on April 21, 1921, Angeline was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Falotico) Palmieri. She was a graduate of T.R. Proctor High School. On November 24, 1945 she married Anthony J. Pazzola with whom she shared 40 mutually devoted years prior to his passing on September 14, 1986. Angie worked as an office manager at the Multiple Sclerosis Society for many years. “As our mother you taught us peace. You taught us about faith and the belief that all things are possible with God. You taught us with hope in our hearts, we can never despair. You taught us that loving selflessly and unconditionally is the way that God intended love to be. You taught us the power of forgiveness. We are blessed because of you!” Her place of worship while living in Utica was the former Blessed Sacrament Church. Angie is survived by her children, Rosemarie “Ree” and Thomas Marko of Sarasota, FL, Anthony J., “Tony” Jr. of Loudonville NY, and Mary Angela “Mer” Dundon of Latham and Michael Dundon of Mohawk. She held close to her heart the memory of her precious daughter, Frances Jude Pazzola who passed away on October 16, 1959. She also leaves her grandchildren, Matthew and Carrie Marko of Syracuse and sons, Jackson and Cooper; Richard and Renee Marko of Amherst NY and children Benjamin and Hannah; and Jason and Rose Dundon of Wichita Falls TX and children Lucius and Miriam; her devoted niece and goddaughters Mary Lourdes Petrone of Utica and Lorraine Grande of Syracuse, as well as many nieces and nephews from the Palmieri and Piperata families; and great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Carmella “Nina” Palmieri; brothers and sisters-in-law, August “Augie” and Rose Palmieri, Rocco and Mary Palmieri; in-laws, Laura and Dominic Piperata, Victoria Pazzola, Frank Pazzola, and Paul and Millie Pazzola; niece, Loretta Piperata Purpura; and great-niece, Andrea Hobika Petrone. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Loudonville Assisted Living/Gerald Levine Memory Care and Eddy Village Green/House 7 for the special love and care that was given to their mom. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc, 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Expressions of sympathy in the form of donations may be made to a charity of choice in lieu of flowers; envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Angeline’s funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence on Thursday morning at 10:30 from the funeral home and at 11:30 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish where her Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. James Cesta. Interment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Service for her family and friends who reside in the Albany area will be at a date and time to be announced.
